Venue

SMR Track & Field championships are being held at TBA. This is the qualification event for the State Track & Field Championships and is to be held on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th February 2024.  The State Championships are to be held on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th March .

Entries are submitted online via the Member portal and have to be in by Monday 22nd January

Centre Uniform:

You will need a Centre uniform to compete in Region events, this comprises the Dandenong Singlet and navy blue shorts. If you do not have a Dandenong singlet then you have two options. 1. You can buy a singlet cost is $ 35-00. If you are planning on running in the Track and Field championships in February then this may be an option. 2. You can hire a singlet, hire cost is $ 10-00. We hold $ 30-00 and refund $ 20-00 when the singlet is returned after event in clean and proper condition.

A Coles badge must be attached to your singlet top. If you need a badge ask at the office.

Race Times:

The Timetable for events is based on the State Track & Field timetable and is to be used as a guide when choosing events. 

You need to be at the venue at least one hour before your first event, in case the program is running early as well as you are required to go to the  Marshalling area 25 minutes before your event.  We also need to make sure the team is ready to compete and all athletes are in attendance.

Footwear:

Spikes are NOT permitted to be worn by U/9-11 athletes. U/12 athletes may wear spikes in all events.

Assistance:

Duty positions will be allocated closer to the event.

Parents will be allocated a duty, generally this is done in blocks of 1-2 hours.
